Another reader of this website has responded immediately to my post about Saunière and his 'garden' on his domaine. Sauniere's 'garden' with a geometrical design is remininscent of some photos from the time Saunière lived of the 'real' biblical Garden of Gethsemane - prompting a suggestion that Saunière may have tried to replicate his own Garden of Gethsemane in his part of the world. Which you would certainly expect from a catholic priest.

The well-known stalker has posted this below [which I reproduce in entirety because when I respond he always removes his post or changes his parameters] missing the total point about the interesting idea regarding the garden design of Sauniere. Instead he posted this picture as an argument [shown below], which to me just looks like a Catholic Church showing a photo of the Garden of Gethsemane with some flowers and candles added for effect. Nothing to do with an actual garden landscaped outside in a private domaine which has similarities with the design of the real biblical Garden of Gethsemane at the time Saunière lived!

This level of argument makes me seriously question the research of this webmaster and the way he always misses an interesting point and tries to misrepresent something. That is why I believe his research is not to be taken at face value ... I put in BOLD responses;

"Rennes-le-Château and the Garden of Gethsemane

Paul Smith

1 August 2023

It has been marvelled [really?] that Abbé Bérenger Saunière modelled his church garden [No, not his church garden, this is not related to the part of the domaine I refer to] on the Garden of Gethsemane.

That also should apply to other Roman Catholic Churches [Why other Catholic Churches, we are talking about Saunière and his church?] – including HERE [this is just a photo of the Garden of Gethsemane that loads of churches will have as a kind of altar, nothing to do with a geometrical landscaped pattern from a contemporary photo of the Holy Land at the time of Saunière]

Nothing to do with Merovingians, Bloodlines, Treasures, Mysteries or Secrets [Who said it was?]

Just look to basic Roman Catholicism – that's what Abbé Bérenger Saunière was all about. And if Rennes-le-Château ever started peddling historical facts and that Abbé Bérenger Saunière gernerated his wealth from selling masses it would instantly kill off tourism. The fantasies are the oxygen of Tourism. What else explains the silence about Saunière's trafficking in masses and Sauniere's 1910-1911 Trial.....

[BTW, it would be interesting to see where else the Garden of Gethsemane is referred to outside the New Testament]" [Why?]
