Philippe, Marquis de Chérisey, deceased on 17th July 1985 in his 62nd year, wrote in 1964, an article of which the content is very close to that of Bernard Gliot, [1] and that we reproduce here.

"The great cycle of the centuries begins again. Already the Virgin returns, who brings back the reign of Saturn (Cronos)". [2 - Virgil - IVth Bucolics 5/6].

Why did Virgil speak about the Virgin, whereas in 49 before Christ one entered the era of Pisces? When Virgil wrote the above quotation, it was twenty years since the apparent vernal point seemed to cross the era of Pisces, but in fact it was the Earth which moved and was within 3º of the Virgin on 21 March 49 before Christ. The sign where the Earth will remain until 2821 of our era in the Zodiac with 12 signs.

However the Virgin is none other than CERES, daughter of SATURN, carrying "an ear of corn". She symbolically is found carved with the child, over the doorway of churches and cathedrals under the title of "OUR LADY", the black Virgin, mother of humankind, who was the mother of Jesus.

"Liber", the book where the child replaces the ear, is found in Christian churches on the arm of Saint Antony of Padua, it is the ear which gives the bread, the manna, therefore this manna which was always throughout the ages the symbol of communion with the beings of eternal knowledge, and that no dogma can lock up in its tabernacle in order to be the only owner.  The child on a menhir or a raised stone, such is the eternal theme of an ancient teaching, it is the pointed Rock, between the White and the Black. [3] It is the mystery of the myth of Adam and the black virgin and Eve and of the black man (the serpent of Genesis).

VIRGILE had thus raised the veil of the hidden mystery, of a science and a secret teaching, transmitted from mouth to ear, the origin surpasses the memory of human beings. The entry into the age of Aquarius, thus has absolutely nothing to do with the conjunction as maintained by "the prince of the astrologers" * in a big national evening newspaper: "In February 1962 there occurred, in the sky, an exceptional phenomenon - the concentration in only one sign, Aquarius, of five planets, plus the Sun and on 4 February the Moon. One could see with the naked eye(?) these seven planets, the only ones known of old. - The celestial event on this date points in a specific direction; humanity left the era of Pisces which had lasted for 2,000 years, to enter the age of Aquarius ".

After these wild imaginings by one who is regarded as the Master of the astrologers (who are the other ones?) read and accepted by hundreds of thousands of readers, no one can doubt the credulity of the masses, because there was not a single protest. This nonsense was accepted as the word of absolute truth! Thus, the influence of planets and stars on human beings seems quite hypothetical for the simple reason that the astrological findings (horoscope) of a person, a country or an event, never finds the stars at the places determined on the diagram.*

[2] This verse from Virgil was interpreted by Christian commentators as a prophecy foretelling the birth of Jesus from a virgin. The reign of Saturn was supposed to be a Golden Age. In antiquity, Saturn ruled the sign of Aquarius.

[3] This would be the “Roc Pointu” located between Château Blanchefort and Roque Nègre. It is mentioned on page 231 of Boudet’s La Vraie Langue Celtique; “This white rock which hits the eyes at first, is followed by a seat of blackish rock extending towards Roko Negro. This feature gave the name to this white rock, placed on top of the black rock, the name Blancfort - blank, white [blanc] - forth, in front - [en avant]. In following the rocks, the eye is soon stopped by an isolated menhir of which the point shows itself above the green oaks which surround it. It bears in the cadastre the name of Roc Pointu: it faces another natural rock fixed on the side of Cardou and decorated with many sharp points. This rock separated from Cardou and offering many points united by the base, presented to our ancestors the idea of little beings making up a family and staying again near to those who gave them life, and they named these points poetically Lampos.”
